Senior Manager, Client Strategy and Business Development

What is the opportunity?

As the Senior Manager, Client Strategy and Business Development, you will Support Director of Client Strategy and Business Development to lead prioritization of ‘Asia’s Global Families (AGF)’ segment for Wealth Management Asia (WMA).

What will you do?

  • Empower Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors with AGF strategy and produce a narrative that puts RBC at the front and center of market leadership.
  • Drive Front Office excellence and effective performance measurement for desired behavior. With Director, reassess targets and lead indicators for implementation.
  • Act as the client advocate key liaison between Front Office teams and other functional teams
  • Implement a differentiated end-to-end sales methodology in Asia.
  • Work with the Director to drive client acquisition framework in Asia.
  • Work closely with sales leaders and other functional teams to build capacity in Front Office.
  • Identify opportunities to increase our value offering via market partnership (e.g. COIs, Family Offices).
  • Explore new RBC differentiators and build programs that can catalyse segment ecosystems.
  • Build new business opportunities by working with Front Office through market partnerships.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum 7 years Wealth management/ management experience with extensive financial industry network in Asia Pacific.
  • Good experience in financial services business preferably within a product role, Broad exposure in Wealth Management products and client relationship management will clearly be an advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with diverse cultures and managing conflict and change.
  • Experiences in sales in Wealth Management industry is preferred.
  • Hands-on operational ability, has the successful track record of managing in matrix and complex/structures, with demonstrated success in managing a diverse and demanding group of internal key stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Graduate degree preferred.
