Our client is a well-known Japanese Bank now seeking for the below for their regional department due to expansion. Ideal if you are looking for a stable working environment with career progression. Attractive remuneration package and career path will be offered to the right candidates. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process credit applications according to Bank’s credit policies and underwriting standards. Credit authority is to be delegated to candidates of proven credit approval experience
  • Approve credit proposals and perform credit reviews within the approval authority
  • Travel to East Asia countries for the operation
  • Manage and monitor loan portfolio, ensure credit quality and full compliance of Bank’s policies and lending guidelines
  • Perform credit review and approve credit applications
  • Ad-hoc projects when necessary
     

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics Law or related disciplines
  • Min 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in corporate bank
  • Extensive knowledge of various corporate lending products such as trade finance, commodity trade, bilateral facilities, term lending, commercial real estate finance, syndicated loans and global market products
  • Strong leadership skill and able to work under pressure and with positive attitude towards changes & challenges
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese. Good command of Mandarin is an advantage
  • Candidates with less experience would be considered as Manager
