Senior Manager, Credit Risk

Assist department head to set up the overall credit risk management framework, including formulation of related policies and procedures and risk appetite statement

Responsibilities:

  • Assist department head to set up the overall credit risk management framework, including formulation of related policies and procedures and risk appetite statement
  • Establish portfolio and limit monitoring mechanism
  • Perform risk monitoring oversight including asset quality, limit compliance and exceptions
  • Propose credit risk control and mitigation measures
  • Supervise in credit risk management team to fulfil Credit Committee, CRO and Department Head’s initiative
  • Develop and enhance risk measuring and monitoring report.
  • Adhere and manage credit risk management according to local laws and regulations
  • Work closely with key stakeholders within the business
  • Provide talent development and support team culture
  • Assist in developing related IT system
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

  • University graduate or above in Risk Management, Finance and Accounting or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail credit risk management and analysis, exposure in policy formulation is an advantage
  • Well versed with credit controls for personal and corporate lending
  • Possess professional qualification in FRM, CPA is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills (written and verbal) to further build the business / risk relationship and to clearly and concisely report the risk in a jargon-free way
  • Sound knowledge of Excel , PowerPoint or related analytic tools is preferred
  • Proactive working attitude and strong sense of responsibilities
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
