Job Summary

The job holder reports to Executive Manager, Learning and Development. He/she will develop and implement training and development initiatives and programmes with a key focus on building the capability of people managers. This involves the management of onboarding programmes for new executive and assistant executives, promotion of a continuous learning culture, partnering with HR and divisional managers in planning, and organising learning and development programmes. The job holder will manage the development of a new learning management system. Besides, he/she will play both an advisory and execution role in offering professional and practical learning and development solutions in alignment with the competency models and the Club's cultural transformation focuses.

You will:

  • Manages the Leadership Excellence Programme, Assistant Executive (AE) Leadership Programme, Supervisory Leadership Programme, senior staff training programme.
  • Manages the Executive/AE new hire Induction Programme. Reviews the programme from time to time to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Partners with business stakeholders, HR Business Facing (HRBF) and other HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) to analyze divisional people learning development needs, design tools/surveys, develop and design learning solutions, evaluate the effectiveness, etc.
  • Partners with HR CoE in the implementation of a new LMS system.
  • Executes the digital learning strategy and work with internal stakeholders and external vendors in upgrading the quality of eLearning courses. Partners with IT and HR Transformation Communications in the enhancement of digital learning tools.
  • Plays both an advisory and execution role in offering professional and practical learning and development solutions in alignment with the competency models and the Club's culture transformation focuses.
  • Provides thought leadership to ensure appropriate learning solutions are in place that promote a learning culture in the Club.
  • Supervises 1 staff member.
  • Leads/Involves in other Talent Management and Learning projects if required.

Ideal qualification / experience:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree, with a specialization in HR, or any other relevant degree.
  • Minimum 15 years of learning and development experience in large corporations at managerial level.
  • Experience in working with business schools in delivering customised learning programmes.
  • Proven team player with exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good balance between strategic thinking and attention to details.
  • High proficiency of written and spoken English (essential) and Chinese (preferred)
  • Sound knowledge in L&D system and processes instructional design, content development, training delivery, and evaluation of training effectiveness.
  • Experience of applying psychometric tools in adult learning and development.
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods • Consultation and influencing skills with senior stakeholders • Strong project management skills
  • Expertise in the design and delivery of e-learning (preferred not mandatory)
  • Experience of implementing and managing a Learning Management System LMS (preferred not mandatory)

Terms of employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
