We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Consolidation & Control Team to join our team in the Finance Division at the Corporate Office in Hong Kong. S/he will be responsible for the accounting and finance functions of a listed group in hotel industry in Hong Kong.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the implementation of new financial system(s) at Group level, and expand to offices in overseas countries
  • Identify issues with the current work flow processes and provide senior management with recommendations
  • Facilitate preparation of financial statements by subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS
  • Suggest improvement plan for group consolidations processes
  • Assess and initiate change in group finance policies to ensure they are up-to-date and appropriate to support the business and operations
  • Ensure financial control is maintained and efficiencies are achieved with existing financial system, processes and procedures, including internal control, risk management, corporate governance requirement
  • Work closely with external vendors for new financial system(s) implementation
  • Provide day-to-day technical assistance and training to users of new system(s)

REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduate in Accounting or related discipline
  • Qualified accountant, or having passed all qualified accountant examinations
  • Minimum 10-12 years' working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Deep knowledge in financial consolidation and reporting
  • Experience in financial system implementation or enhancement
  • Well adverse of IFRS GAAP and local GAAP differences
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate ability to multi-tasks and work independently
  • Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Competent in MS Windows applications and financial reporting systems
