Senior Manager - Enforcement (Investigation - Intermediary Misconduct Team)

The SFC is an internationally respected regulator and law enforcement agency that helps supervise one of the world’s major financial centres. Crucial to this work is our role of investigating and taking enforcement action in relation to crimes and misconduct that hurt investors and damage the honesty and efficiency of our markets. Our Enforcement Division takes the lead role in this work in investigating and conducting enforcement action in cases that are often complex, urgent and cutting edge.

We are now seeking candidate for a Senior Manager position in the Enforcement Division. As a successful candidate for the role, you will help lead small multi-disciplinary teams, partnering with professional investigators, accountants, lawyers and market specialists, undertaking forensic inquiries and investigations, analyzing evidence and making recommendations to senior management concerning possible breaches of the Securities and Futures Ordinance and misconduct of intermediaries.

Ideal candidates should possess a university degree and solid experience in law enforcement, dispute resolution, litigation or forensic accounting. You must have strong leadership and management skills grounded in experience and sound knowledge on the operations of the securities market, financial or investment industry. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and the ability to communicate effectively and articulate complex financial transactions simply is essential.
