Job Description

The main objective of this position is to ensure the Retail Banking Operations Team operates in full compliance, internally and externally; and its processes are constructed and executed in accordance to the Bank's operational risk framework.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4-5, ensure the Operations Team complies with the internal & external bank policies and procedure
  • Represent HK Retail Banking Operations and work with Business Operational Risk Manager for matters in relation to compliance and operational risk
  • Design and implement varies control measures to ensure quality & accuracy of the operational process
  • Oversee the reported complaint cases and operational mishap, ensure thorough follow up actions taken
  • Coordinate the internal / external audit review involving Retail Banking Operations
  • Organize monthly service review meeting between the HK Operations Team and the processing hub, to monitor the services and initiate process improvement


Qualifications and Skills

  • Solid working experience in Customer Service or Retail Banking Operations
  • Knowledge in the retail banking products
  • Good command of written English
  • Knowledge in the Bank's operational process & systems
  • Compliance / Operational Risk background preferred but not a must
