Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Own and facilitate the strategic planning process for HuBS. Develop short and long-term plans that will be implemented by reviewing and establishing strategic priorities and converts them to actionable plans
  • Support the development and management of strategic plans, project schedules, reports, presentations, and other deliverables for HuBS leadership
  • Provide end to end strategic support across the many pillars of Asia DE strategy and drive adoption of these strategic initiatives within HuBS. Support local workstream leads for execution of four strategic initiatives under Asia DE
  • Participate in the annual budget, strategy planning and forecasting process to determine the support and monitoring required for the success of the agreed scope of work.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Metrics

  • Analyze the financial and strategic costs/benefits of existing and future programmes/platforms through TCO framework and methodologies and work with HuBS leadership to execute those recommendations
  • Build business cases to capture effort and investment needs for the various strategic initiatives under HuBS
  • Develop, maintain, and present detailed reporting models with clearly understood P&L and Hubs level metrics
  • Establish frameworks for program control and excellence under HuBS

Other responsibilities

  • Lead engagements with external consulting firms and vendors to understand market development and digital strategy opportunities for HuBS
  • Perform iterative research on market developments, innovative product and service concepts, competition landscape and customer needs for business insights and potential innovation of new propositions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in business consulting or strategic planning roles preferably in the financial services domain
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keep abreast with key market trends and the regulatory environment in HK, SG and Bermuda
