We are looking for high caliber individual to join the Airport Authority, the manager and operator of HKIA.
 

Senior Operation Officer, Land Transport & Project

Responsibilities:

  • Support real time operation management for public transport facilities of HKIA to ensure smooth vehicle and passenger flow
  • Assist in coordinating with government departments, contractors, and internal departments of the Authority, regarding road works on the airport island under government projects and the implementation of temporary traffic arrangements to ensure smooth traffic on the airport's road network
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and business partners, in particular staff deployment and the quality of the services
  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects to enhance land transport facilities of HKIA
  • Assist in liaising with public transport service operators and government departments regarding (a) enhancement projects in relation to land transport facilities and (b) enhancements to public transport to / from HKIA, e.g. expansions of route networks and increases in frequencies
  • Handle complaints and passenger injury incidents, including investigation and feedback to passengers
  • Analyze operational data and statistics in relation to land transport
  • Assist in transport planning studies and reviews of land transport infrastructure developments
  • Assist in formulating and implementing policies and procedures with respect to traffic management, to ensure smooth vehicle flows and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Prepare, review and update operation plans and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher diploma in Transport Planning, Aviation Management, Business Administration, Applied Science or related disciplines
  • Degree holder with at least 4 years’ relevant working experience in passenger transport, airport operations or logistics
  • Non-degree holder with at least 7 years' relevant working experience in passenger transport, airport operations or logistics
  • Experience in bus operation, transport planning, contract management or project management will be an advantage
  • Customer-focused, strong attention to details; good negotiation skills
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese); good command in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license will be an advantage
