Senior Policy Service Specialist


Job Summary

Maintains and increases POS accuracy, efficiency and service quality and ensures turnaround time, benchmark and department goals are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Works with Assistant Manager to control the productivity, quality & efficiency of the team by reviewing the productivity report, error log report and management reports in order to ensure consistency and accuracy of the output.
  • Handles Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Organizes and provides POS training to internal staff.
  • Underwrites, approves cases which exceed subordinates’ authority.
  • Handles requests received from DD meeting and agency leaders’ telephone enquiries.
  • Provides support to OSS, CS, Call Centre, OSC, PRC business and all operations functions.
  • Underwrites non-medical and/or medically standard cases if appropriated authority is being granted.
  • Reviews POS procedures are standardized and enforced.

Job Requirements

  • University /College graduate plus 3-4 years experience OR
  • Form 5 graduate plus 8-10 years related experience
  • Thorough knowledge in POS
  • Strong Teamwork skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Customer oriented
