Key Responsibilities

Implementation of intervention programs

  • Design, plan and implement intervention programs, i.e. Chill Zone for all clients and their significant others, with the mindset to build protective factors
  • Review regularly with caseworkers team, residential care team and peer agencies to maintain and enhance the relevancy of program provisions to the needs of our clients
  • Supervise program officer in program planning and execution to ensure values alignment with partners and service providers, systematic outputs and outcomes tracking, and accurate financial records
  • Produce timely output and outcome reports as required by management and funding bodies
  • Collaborate with Volunteer Engagement Team and Community Services in recruitment and onboarding of suitable volunteers to facilitate and/or support intervention programs

Launch of Early Intervention Services (EIS) in various settings

  • Support the Manager of Youth Services to research on the best practice models related to childcare and home support services for parenting youth, and contribute to the development of services framework and protocol, outcome metrics under the service context of Mother’s Choice
  • Partner with the professional team of EIS, caseworkers and internal departments to adapt the existing EIS content to parenting youth at various settings – pregnant girls’ hostel, home visits, classroom-based workshops
  • Oversee EIS implementation in aforementioned settings and integrate the program into case management journey
  • Partner with caseworkers and/or program officers to conduct home visits to clients’ residence and gauge the needs of EIS among our clients
  • Collaborate with EIS Team and Volunteer Engagement Team to set the scope, develop training manual, relevant policies and procedures to launch the EIS home visiting volunteers

Implementation of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Programs

  • Support Assistant Manager of Youth Services in monitoring the implementation of CSE Programs for school youth, targeted youth and their supportive system and ensure the execution is effective, efficient, and aligned with expectation of Mother’s Choice and funding bodies
  • Conduct frontline workshops to youth in school and residential-care settings, and trainings for youth-workers and parents on CSE
  • Engage and communicate with CSE program partners to nurture the relationship for long-term impacts

Support of Youth Services Initiatives

  • Support the initial connection program for youth facing crisis pregnancy by responding to enquiries through hotline, WhatsApp and email
  • Assist in conferences and workshops to amplify the reach and increase public awareness on the plight of issues of vulnerable youth and children
  • Undertake other duties as assigned


  • University degree or above with 5 years or more of experience in youth work setting
  • Strong sense of program logics with outstanding analytical skills to address service gap and clients’ needs
  • Project and program development and management experience including budget management skills
  • Self-aware individual with creativity, drive, resilience and integrity whilst keeping a sense of perspective
  • Excellent communication skills with partners and clients from all walks of life, with a non-judgmental attitude to individuals in crisis
  • Able to multi-task, flexible and can work in different service programs locations as the project demands
  • Self-aware individual with creativity, drive, resilience and integrity whilst keeping a sense of perspective
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese skills; ability to communicate effectively in Cantonese is a must
  • Must share the commitment of Mother’s Choice in upholding the safety and protection of children as paramount
