A PM position to ensure a smooth transition of designs between the NPD team and factory.

Lead the NPI of OEM/ODM projects
Responsible for creating and tracking detailed project plans for NPI/Industrialisation
Organise and drive interdepartmental activities to facilitate timely completion of all necessary work, including: product requirement specifications, DFx, test plans, testing, DFMEA, PFMEA, tooling approvals, engineering builds, approbation and successful ramp up into production.
Preparing documentation & presentations for meetings, often with the Executive leadership team.
Lead to closure, with support from quality teams in the root cause analysis and problem solving issues.
Support the manufacturing team with existing product lines as and when required
Degree or Masters in Engineering or relevant discipline
Demonstrated experience in the project management of complex consumer electronic projects
An in depth understanding of manufacturing processes, electronics, SMT, tooling, moulding and quality systems
Demonstrated knowledge of the PPAP process and supporting tools such as DFx, FMEA, MSA and SPC
Knowledge of LEAN and/or six sigma is an added advantage
Strong analytical skills, effective problem solving and troubleshooting ability
A solid practical knowledge and project engineering / NPI experiences in large EMS/OEM/ODM manufacturers is a definite asset
