Senior Project Officer (9 month contract, work in Govt Office)

Major Duties:

  • To support various promotion and publicity initiatives in relation to the 10th anniversary of the event, including organising a large-scale 10th Anniversary Ceremony, liaising with contractors on developing videos to highlight department’s impact and managing the website and social media account for department;
  • To liaise with operators to arrange various value-added activities for participants; and
  • To undertake any other duties pertinent to the operation of related projects, and the Team as directed.


Requirment:

  • A Hong Kong degree, or equivalent, preferably in the fields of business administration, journalism and communication, public relations, marketing or translation;
  • At least 7 years’ post-degree full-time working experience in project management, journalism, publicity or public relations, with experience in engagement with welfare Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and schools; and experience in website management would be an advantage;
  • Level 2 (Grade E before 2007) or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the HKCEE, or equivalent;
  • Good communication (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide spectrum of non-governmental and local community organisations and the public;
  • Good knowledge of computer software applications, including Word (English and Chinese), Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher; and
  • The ability to work as a team member, and work independently without much supervision, and have the capacity for multi-tasking and be able to perform effectively under pressure.
