The appointee will assist in an RGC-funded research project. He/she will work closely with nursing faculty members and students and provide support in pedagogical innovation. The main duties will include recruiting participants, conducting systematic literature review, assisting with developing research instruments, collecting and analyzing data, preparing research reports and dissemination material, as well as maintaining effective communication with multiple stakeholders. The appointee is expected to assume duty as soon as possible, and the initial appointment will be for a period of one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
Applicants should have at least a Master’s Degree plus one year post Master’s Degree full-time working experience, or a Doctoral Degree, in Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching or other related disciplines. They should possess an excellent command of spoken and written English, a commitment to research, and the ability to write up research work for publications. Those with experience in discourse analysis and teaching materials design will be preferred. Knowledge of nursing education is an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
