The appointee will participate in various research projects related to data analytics. He/she will be responsible for performing data analysis and collaborating with other departments on the deployment, integration and evaluation of analytics models and solutions; preparing research materials and assisting in the coordination and administrative work of research projects; and performing any other duties as assigned. The appointment will be for a period of around 23 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Master's Degree in data science, statistics, or related disciplines, plus one-year post Master’s Degree full-time working experience, or a Doctoral Degree. They should have good programming and communication skills and be highly proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese. They should be self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently. Previous full-time working experience in programming and/or research projects will be an advantage
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
