The appointee will be responsible for supporting research and administration related work for a research project entitled “The Techniques And Applications For Fuzzy Talent Assessment Based On Educational Big Data". He/she will assist in collecting data, data input, implementing models, data analysis, managing administrative work, and performing other duties as assigned by the project leader. The initial appointment will be for a period of around 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
For the post of Senior Research Assistant, applicants should have a Master’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or other related fields, plus at least one-year post-qualification full-time working experience, or a Doctoral Degree. For the post of Research Assistant, applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in the above mentioned disciplines. The applicants should have good knowledge of machine learning and data mining. They should also have very good programming skills and system implementation experience, and high writing proficiency in English and Chinese, especially in academic writing. Knowledge in education-related areas and experience in research paper publication will be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
