The appointee will be responsible for providing assistant for research projects in education. He/she will assist in conducting literature review, collecting quantitative and qualitative data, performing statistical analyses by using SPSS, AMOS and other statistical packages (e.g. R, Mplus), writing reports, and performing any other duties as assigned. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
For the post of Research Assistant, applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education or a relevant discipline, preferably with relevant working experience. For the post of Senior Research Assistant, applicants should have a Master‘s Degree in Psychology, Education or a relevant discipline plus one year post Master’s Degree full-time working experience or a doctorate. They should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. They should be well-organized and have the ability to work independently and collectively as a good team member. They should also have good interpersonal and communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants who with a strong background in conducting quantitative research.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
