The role:

To cope with business development, the Risk & Compliance department (RCD) is established strategically for promotion of a risk-conscious culture and provides independent audit services to the stakeholders with the strictest confidence and to ensure ‘check & balance’ are in place.  The Senior Risk and Audit Services Officer is responsible for planning, execution and make recommendation for these assignments.  The position will be given the opportunities to work directly with senior management and make visible impact to the businesses.

  • Undertake internal audits projects and effectively communicate audit results and provide recommendations to the business unit management
  • Provide assurance that controls within the Group are operating effectively and provide accurate and timely information for senior management’s decision making
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders of businesses
  • Assist in internal projects for continuing development and improvement of Risk & Compliance Department
  • Drive changes and provide value-adding services to the company
  • Perform consultative project, training, investigation or any ad hoc task as assigned
  • No overseas travel is required

Skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline
  • Related professional qualifications in good standing such as CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, CISM or CISSP
  • At least 4 years or experience in financial/operational audit or risk advisory
  • Solid audit / enterprise risk management experience
  • Business acumen with appreciation of general financial/operations controls and good articulation skill
  • Exposure in IT audit, controls review and/or risk advisory and experience in using CAATs and/or any data analytics tool will be an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
