Senior Sales and Trade Marketing Executive (FMCG)

The incumbent will play a key role among trade counterparts, frontline sales team, and vendors to ensure instore performance excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement key account strategy by brand lines and distribution channels, optimizing the distribution network through consistent monitoring of trade activities and frontline sales.
  • Plan and execute trade marketing campaigns at chain stores through tactical sales promotion, gifting offerings, retail events, and trade shows, etc.
  • Ensure quality execution of strategies (value sets, GWP, trade events, sampling arrangements, etc.)
  • Monitor the performance of trade marketing campaigns through timely and in-depth analysis of post-campaign results and evaluate ROI.
  • Manage trade marketing communication items (EDM, leaflets, POP, and price tags) from content development to production.
  • Analyze sell-through reports and competitor activity to formulate concrete plans to increase door productivity and capitalize store growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate with buyers on pricing, inventory level, trade promotion, visual merchandizing, and ad-hoc marketing activities.
  • Serve as the contact point with trade counterparts at retail stores to ensure timely and effective listing of merchandize and execute rectification action if necessary.
  • Work with the operation team to manage merchandize replenishment and point-of-sales items across distribution network.
  • Manage frontline sales team with key responsibilities on recruitment, manpower assignment, KPI management, sales boost tactics, customer management, and training.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree holder; non-degree holder with solid retail experience will also be considered.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in retail operation, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Strong business analytical skills, with experience in marketing will be a plus
  • Solid experience in coaching and managing frontline staff
  • Good people management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Forward thinking and result oriented
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese
