Drive growth from new recurring service business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, selling and closing new PSA and / or O&M with customers.
Able to identify key customer needs & priorities resulting in JCI successfully positioning recurring service offerings which deliver customer value achieving JCI’s growth and profitability targets
Promote & successfully position targeted PSA offerings to customers including digitally-enabled service products, providing feedback to management on suitability and customer acceptance to address required needs
Work in partnership with local teams including (but not limited to) Inside Sales, Service Operations, GCOE and local Subject Matter Experts to support successful development & proposals to customers
How you will do it
Identify, generate and qualify new leads for PSA and O&M opportunities following standard APAC end-to-end process and / or work in partnership with Inside Sales to receive & develop leads which have already been qualified.
Visit & communicate with customers to clearly identify their needs and priorities, including establishing budgets and documenting such information for next steps.
Work with GCOE where indicated to develop a tailored proposal which best positions JCI to deliver differentiated value to the customer through a PSA / O&M, leveraging JCI’s digitally-enabled service offerings through OpenBlue where available.
Gain all necessary approvals including costing and pricing through DoA / Pricing Team prior to submission to customer.
Presentation and follow up to customer including adjustments based on feedback.
Negotiation, agreement on terms and conditions with customer based on JCI standard policies and guidelines.
Close deals and initiate handover to Service Operation team.
Act with upmost professionalism at all times
All activities and updates including (but not limited to) relevant information from customer discussions, lead and opportunity progression, proposals and bids, approvals and booking information must be recorded in a timely and accurate manner in SFDC.
Ensure timely and accurate sales forecasts to management based on SFDC.
Be aware of and feedback pertinent information relating to competitors’ activities, offerings, positioning and pricing whilst maintaining JCI’s highest standards of ethics and compliance at all times.
What we look for
Requires hunting skills / mindset, a self-starter.
Requires considerable sales skills to identify customer needs and priorities to be addressed
Possessing / ability to develop a strong knowledge of JCI offerings & capabilities
High Diploma in a relevant field (Science / Engineering & Mechanical / Business)
1-3 years’ experience in either an HVACR / Building Controls / Fire& Security or Sales field.
Demonstrate financial and business acumen with strong skills in customer relationship building and management
Solution selling mindset, knowledge and familiarity with digital service offerings.
Strong pipeline management, experience in using SFDC
Proven track record in delivering the strong results with strong accountability and say/do
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, both internally and dealing with external customers and stakeholders
