Senior System Administrator - Unix (Hong Kong)

Global risk management solution organization looking to add a strong system administrator with Unix experience and excellent communication skills to their global system administration team.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Supporting global users for infrastructure issues, especially on system administration on Unix/ Linux operating systems.
  • Solving technical problems
  • Working on projects such as the Unix migrations.
  • Able to handle a diverse range of infrastructure tasks, which include some basic networking and web applications.
  • Working as part of a global system administrator team

Requirements of the role:

  • Minimum 5 years as a System Administrator or Unix administrator with experience on Unix/ Linux operating systems, ideally RedHat 6/7.
  • Must have a large server environment experience from a large multinational organization.
  • Finance sector experience would highly beneficial
  • Should have proven experience working within infrastructure teams of strong SME's
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English for supporting global and regional users.
