Senior Technical Officer (Ref: CS-CI-STO-CT)

Reporting to the Meter Installation Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

  • To perform low voltage metering work such as installation, replacement, removal and checking of tariff meters
  • To carry out inspection on electrical installations and the grid-connected renewable energy power systems, and prepare pertinent reports
  • To handle and investigate into power quality problems with customers’ installations
  • To participate in the promotional activities and provide technical advisory services related to Feed-in-Tariff, Renewable Energy Power System and Smart Power Building Fund


  • Higher Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience
  • Registered Electrical Worker (REW) a must
  • Good knowledge of the Supply Rules, the Electricity Ordinance and Code of Practice for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations and other related legislations
  • Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
  • Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicle an advantage
