The Role

  • To co-ordinate training activities of the Policy, Research & Training Division; design and deliver tailored equal opportunities / anti-discrimination trainings and train-the-trainer programmes to stakeholders
  • To advise EOC on emerging issues and assisting in the development of strategies and policies relating to the provision of EOC's training and consultancy functions pertaining to the DDO, SDO, FSDO and RDO
  • To foster and encourage compliance with equal opportunities and anti-discrimination laws in Hong Kong
  • To liaise and negotiate with stakeholders of the EOC’s Policy, Research and Training Division in relation to meeting their educational and consultancy needs
  • To co-ordinate the 'EO Club' and its activities
  • To undertake any other duties as assigned

The Person

  • University graduate with at least 8 years’ working experience, 5 of which should be training related (EO related training is an advantage)
  • Strong project management skills in the training / education field
  • Strong negotiation / consultative skills and experience in working with project advisory committees
  • Substantial experience in training design and delivery to a wide range of audiences in the provision of service user focused, high quality organizational change consultancy services
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of anti-discrimination ordinances in Hong Kong and the principles that underpin them
  • Good command of both English and Chinese, good command of Putonghua an advantage
  • Knowledge of computer-based training
  • Motivated and committed to EOC’s vision, mission and values

[Appointment will be on three-year agreement terms renewable depending on service needs and performance. The remuneration package will consist of a basic salary and a cash allowance in accordance with the Commission’s policy. The appointee will also be eligible for a gratuity on completion of the agreement subject to satisfactory performance and conduct. ]
