We are looking for a high caliber professional to join the branch of Faculty of Leadership Skill of CLP Power Learning Institute of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager- Leadership Skill Training, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and manage training plan to cater for non-technical training requirements of GBG and PSBG. Evaluate and revise training programmes / courses to ensure the contents and schedules meet stakeholders' training needs
  • Review and implement non-technical career curriculum and corresponding training framework and training methodologies for all-round development of engineering and technical staff to meet the business environment
  • Design, establish and review training methodologies to ensure the training is delivered in an effective and efficient manner
  • Develop and maintain training materials to ensure their relevance and validity as well as the continual improvement of the training process
  • Overall management and quality control on execution of non-technical training OA and vendor performance, and establishment of OA on BGs' specific development needs
  • Apply quality assurance principles and systems to all training activities and follow HSSE quality processes
  • Management and execution of people development programs, Liaise with respective subject matter experts for PSBG and GBG junior engineers programs (e.g., Advanced Dynamic Development Program, Dynamic Development Program)
  • Overall management of the Knowledge Management System including
    • Establish and market a KM system to strengthen knowledge flow and utilisation among knowledge systems in CLP, promote and evaluate the effectiveness of the KM system
    • Promote and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing in PSBG and GBG.  Partner with relevant departments/teams to promote knowledge sharing on innovation practices, advanced technology development and application, and market development
    • Identify critical knowledges and formulate solutions/initiatives for knowledge retention and succession
    • Manage and maintain the KM Portal
    • Design KM projects and programs, promote, implement, monitor and evaluate
    • Coordinate and expand the establishment and participation of the Communities of Practice (CoP).
    • Coordinate with other training branches in transferring knowledges between KM systems and training programs (e.g. technical training and/or operational safety training programmes)
    • Foster a culture that strives for career-long learning and instil staff’s ownership of self-development in PSBG and GBG
  • Deliver formal and informal learning solutions in a manner that both engage the learner and produces desired outcomes; manage and respond to learner needs


  • A recognized Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management / Training / Psychology / Knowledge Management or related disciplines; or
  • A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline, plus corporate membership of a recognized professional institute or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Certificate in the Train-the-Trainer or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Experience in managing and liaising with training service providers, carrying out KM related activities, content management and creation of knowledge sharing platform would be advantageous
