Hang Seng Investment Management  – Client Solutions and Wholesales Distribution

Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM) was incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability in April 1993. HSVM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank Limited (the “Bank") and is the investment arm of the Bank.

HSVM provides investment management services to the Bank and the Bank’s customers and has extensive experience in managing index-tracking funds, retirement funds, institutional accounts and private client portfolios. In particular, it has expertise in managing funds related to the Mainland and Hong Kong markets, including funds investing directly in the Mainland market through the qualified foreign institutional investor (QFII) regime since 2003, and an Renminbi qualified foreign institutional investor exchange traded fund (RQFII ETF) launched in 2013.

We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our department as Senior Wholesales Distribution Manager.  

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to promote investment funds managed by Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM) via appropriate distribution channels
  • Work closely with sales, product management and investment management functions under HSVM to prepare regular and ad-hoc marketing materials
  • Design / implement promotion offers for potential customers
  • Evaluate the operative efficiency of different distribution strategies and promotion offers and make recommendations for management review 

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration / Finance / Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience, preferably in the investment funds or banking industry.
  • Passes in HKSI licensing examinations preferred
  • Good project management skill
  • Strong self-motivation, detail-minded and has the ability to work independently
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good in both written English and Chinese
  • Sound knowledge of PC application software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • Ability to bring divergent ideas to create new and valuable innovative solutions
