Responsibilities:

• Originate and develop FX and Rates business with Institutional clients through maintaining high quality day to day contact with clients, pitching and closing of deals, and proper follow up of post deal tasks
• Maintain mutually beneficial relationship with Traders and other product Sales of Global Markets. Work closely within own team to maximize business revenue and backup other team members
• Work closely with other business units eg Institutional Banking, Custody to cross-sell and maximize synergy for the bank
• Implement and execute BOCHK‘s Regional Business Unit management: act as a bridge between HK and its Southeast Asian offices to assist, cooperate and partake in regular reporting and meetings, contribute ideas and participate in follow up work relating to Sales activities
• Work closely with Salespeople located in BOCHK’s Southeast Asian offices to achieve revenue budget, to strengthen product and Sales capabilities, diversify client base, improve internal processes and achieve business breakthroughs
• Work together with Southeast Asian offices to promote RMB business to Southeast Asian clients
• Organize and conduct training for internal partners and stakeholders in Southeast Asian offices, participate in client events and seminars

Requirements:

• University Degree
• 3+ years of working experience in financial services industry, including a minimum of 1 year experience in Treasury product Sales
• HK SFC Type 1 and 4 license
• Self motivated and able to work under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate and interact well with local and overseas colleagues
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
