Service Manager, APAC

Nakama have partnered with an industry leading loyalty rewards organisation that are looking at adding a Service Manager to their organisation. The newly created role will have regional exposure across South East Asia and China so Mandarin is essential for this role.

My client is looking for someone that isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with managing incidents and co-ordination of operations. On the other side, this person can optimise service management, analyse current processes and make improvements making a real difference to the organisation.

Mindset and a collaborative personality is essential for this opportunity, you must be proactive in your approach and have a positive mindset building trust and strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities and requirements - 

  • Collaborate with a project team and lead transition from service implementation to operation;
  • Coordinate with internal (on- and offshore) and external stakeholders to drive the closure of the service incidents; 
  • Act as a focal point and bridge between our client (at all levels, including C-level) and our delivery teams; 
  • Continuously baseline and identify room for improvement on the overall service delivery operation. Plan and execute the subsequent improvement activities; 
  • Degree in Information Technology, Management, or Computer Science;
  • Service management framework/standard certification (ITIL, FitSM, COBIT and/or ISO/IEC 20000) preferred;
  • Five or more years of experience with application support services, project or program management. Preferable to have experience in 24x7 large operations support environment;
