Settlement Manager – Securities (Ref: S-S-CT)

Supervises the daily transaction processing of securities and funds to deliver a timely, smooth, reliable and efficient service to customer. Provides processing support on daily operation tasks such as trade matching, CCASS operations, corporate actions processing, IPO and placement, client fund transfers, borrowing and lending, data management and mutual funds processing. Manage the stock pledge processing of equities and derivatives in Hong Kong. Enforces segregation of duties and proper controls by verifying the transactions, amendments and data changes made by the operations team Streamlines existing processes and procedures continually Participate in system enhancement project, manage and resolve problems during different stages from project initiation to its implementation.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or related;
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in the settlement and operations department;
• Solid experience of the operations and settlement of Equities, Fixed Income, mutual funds, derivatives;
• Ability to handle the full settlement cycle in CCASS is a must;
• Good understanding of the procedures for clearing, fees and commissions calculation, handling IPO, corporate actions, fund transfers and settlement instructions, mutual funds processing and the relevant SFC and HKEx rules and regulations;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

(Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Settlement Manager.)
