Settlement Manager/ Asst. Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily back office activities including but not limited to securities/futures/bond settlement, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, placement and SBL etc.
  • Liaise with front office, banks, brokers and external authorities to follow up settlement related issues
  • Ensure the operational procedures are compliance with relevant regulatory and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control in the operating process to minimize risk exposure 
  • Participate in system enhancements, UAT and perform ad hoc assignments / duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in brokerage industry
  • Familiar with relevant compliance rules and regulations, CCASS, DCASS and CTM operations
  • Mature, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work under pressure 
  • Great communications skill and interpersonal skill
  • Strong leadership and organization skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Asst. Settlement Manager

Sr. Officer/ Officer/ Asst. Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily settlement operations including HK Equities & Futures, Overseas Equities, Futures and Options and Derivatives products
  • Monitor pre-matching, post trade processing, nominee services, stock reconciliation, IPO, corporate actions and placement
  • Liaise with Brokers, in-house counterparties to follow up settlement related issues and equiries
  • Participate in system development projects include UAT and system migration

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma holder in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of settlement experience in a brokerage industry
  • Familiar with CCASS, DCASS operations
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
  • Good communications skill and interpersonal skill
  • Able to work independently under pressure
  • Proficiency in both spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Fresh graduate will also be considered
