Settlement Officer

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily settlement operations of securities and other derivatives (Local and US market);
• Perform settlement functions including daily stock reconciliation, trade matching, customers fund in/out, IPO, Placement, SI, corporate actions, and other CCASS operations;
• Handle day-end procedures and daily stock reconciliation;
• Prepare daily and monthly settlement reports and statements;
• Handle account opening (Individual, Corporate and Institutional Professional Investors) and data maintenance;
• Handle client’s inquiries;
• Assist in system modification and UAT testing;
• Handle other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline;
• Minimum 3-years relevant experience in settlement operations, preferably in brokerage business;
• Knowledge of settlement knowledge as well as hands on  CCASS operations;
• Strong PC skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing;
• Responsible, self-motivated, independent and good interpersonal skill;
• Good command in written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
• Work on weekend and public holidays will be required if necessary;
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
