Shift Leader - Pastry

Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pastry Chef to maintain good standards of food quality and preparation
  • Supervise a team of subordinates, assign all various duties to the employee, provide training and coach them as to the proper procedure to follow
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and keep equipment in proper condition
  • Provide ad hoc support as assigned

Qualifications

  • Diploma holder in culinary management or a related field of discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar capacity
    Minimum 5 years related experience in food & beverage, hotel experience is a plus
    Well organized, self-motivated, innovative, good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
    Highly organized with problem solving and multi-tasking skills
    Ability to work independently and under pressure
