Shipping Clerk

  • Organize, arrange and monitor shipment schedule
  • Monitor closely with vendors and forwarders on shipping schedule to ensure client shipments are fulfilled per requirements
  • 70% of orders are LDP (DDP) to USA Port, balance 30% FOB China shipments
  • Able to handle I/E and full set of shipping documents trade link operations, AMS and IFS 10+2, custom declaration and apply China C/O , Form A for shipment to countries like US, Canada , Europe
  • Arrangement for LCL and FCL and air shipment, and distribute small international shipments.
  • Prepare related documents including packing list, invoice and delivery note
  • Price negotiation with forwarders, communication with clients and working w/ director/s to ensure shipments are shipped/delivered on timely basis.

Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above, or relevant education qualifications + experiences
  • At least 10 years shipping experience in trading firm
  • Good command in both English and Mandarin (by oral and writing)
  • Independence, hardworking, well organized, self-motivated, able to work under pressure
  • Responsible, cheerful, detail-minded and good team player
  • Computer skills: Excel, word, Ms Outlook
