Human Resources

The Human Resources unit helps Infineon to put its strategy into practice. We proactively tackle HR-relevant employee and management topics and take a lead role in the realization of HR-related programs, processes and activities. HR focus topics range from Leadership over Talent to Workforce and do thus improve people excellence in the whole company.

In your new role you will:

  • Provide sound and timely support related to HR topics for Hong Kong office, including recruitment, new employee on-boarding, confirmation, exit, organization change/transfer, performance management, employee compensation and benefits, employment relations, learning and development, expatriate management and etc.
  • Work closely with PMM and DM related managers, assisting them to understand and implement corporate policies, procedures and laws/regulations; addressing people development topics with the development of organization; and providing HR suggestions or solutions timely based on organization needs.
  • Understand how to build up partnership with internal HR clients with good interpersonal skills.
  • Implement the company's performance management program and support line managers to utilize performance management tools in order to continuously improve business and employees' performance.
  • Provide administrative support in maintenance of personnel records, formulation of HR and related policies/procedure, and preparation of various HR reports.
  • Closely work with HR colleagues in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuxi and other city/region/global to contribute to HR operation excellence; provide HR support/services locally in order to ensure HR related topics can go on smoothly across different locations.
  • Initiate and drive HR related project based on business needs; coordinate the global/regional/country HR projects based on request.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks.


You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Bachelor degree and above; major in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Law is preferred.
  • 13+ years of working experience, with at least 8+ years in HR field; candidates with HR Business Partner experience from hi-tech are preferred.
  • Strong skill in all functions of HR management.
  • Strategic thinking abilities balanced with hands-on operational experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong consultant skills to influence and get things done through good partnership with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to implement process change and deliver a consistent, qualified support pipeline.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of China/Hong Kong labor laws/regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to details.
  • Open-minded and a good team player.
  • Be sensitive on employee relations.
  • Good leadership skill.
  • Excellent English communication skills both in written and spoken.
