Responsibilities:
- To assist in the planning of 24/7 online crisis support service, the implementation of the provision of online individual counseling, appropriate volunteer training programmes and the mobilization of community stakeholders for youth suicide prevention. The aims are to enable the at-risk youths with support and appropriate social services and increase public awareness towards youth suicide prevention

- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
a. Planning and monitoring
- To assist in exploring and assessing the needs of the serving areas and to recommend appropriate programmes
- To assist in evaluating the existing services of the team and making appropriate recommendations

b. Direct Service
-To identify target groups
-To render online service to individuals of advice, guidance, counselling, safety plan, connectedness care etc
-To establish community contacts and work in collaboration with parents, school system and the community to provide service
- To organize seasonal mass activities, e.g. public campaigns, volunteer programmes
- To make referrals
- To provide consultation and training to youth, parents and school personnel on issues related to the service
- To advocate adequate opportunities for youth development and their integration into the community

c. Community Liaison
- To assist in promoting Service / Agency image
- To participate in local district working groups for joint projects to promote youth service
- To participate in district working groups/committees
- To give talks and presentations related to youth services when invited
- To collaborate with relevant agencies, government departments, schools, community leaders, parishes and other service units to promote and provide the service

d. Administration
- To prepare all paper work related to services, including proposals, budgets, recordings and reports and to ensure that all paper work is up-to-date and filed appropriately
- To prepare project proposals to solicit local and territory-wide designated funds
- To monitor programme expenses according to budgets approved and to handle the programme finance properly according to the accounting procedures
- To be the convener of working groups, sub-team and special projects of the service as required by the work plan
- With delegation from the Clinical Supervisor / Team Leader, the social worker will be assigned to discharge supervisory duty

Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Social Work
- Obtained Level 2 in FIVE subjects including English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies in the HKDSE or equivalent
- Registered Social Worker
- At least 5 years or above relevant work experience
