Software Engineering Lead - Global Financial Platform

Our client is a leading financial institution with technology platform globally supporting their global business. They are building a software engineering team to implement patterns, standard, and approaches across the firm globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a vocal technical leader within the internal engineering community.
  • Embed with software development teams, enable and accelerate consistent implementation of engineering patterns and approaches within the firm.
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineering leadership to uncover pain points and opportunities to accelerate the delivery of new value through platforms and software.
  • Develop and evolve engineering patterns, best practices, and reference to increase the rate of sharing consistently and reuse across the globe.

     

Requirements:

  • Extensive development background across Java, JavaScript, SpringBoot, .Net, HTML5, CSS3, Swift or similar technologies.
  • Cloud exposure like AWS, Azure and Cloud Foundry.
  • Familiar with Agile and DevOps practice and principle. TDD, CI/CD and other approaches to accelerate the software delivery.
  • Familiar with the Open Sources technologies.
  • Able to coach junior engineers and able to bring passion to the growing development team.
  • Strong communications skill in English, able to bring the technical vision, possibilities, and outcome in an articulate effective way across the whole firm.
  • Engineering Degree from a reputable University.
