Role Introduction

Solution Analyst is the analyst that understands the IT products or applications in their area and how these can support the business.  The focuses are to provide subject matter technical competence in implementing and maintaining integration services for API(s), message service, and data streaming service. You are responsible to define solutions to bridge gaps and make sure the project scope is maintained, and solutions implemented in line with design.

Key Responsibilities

Business Engagement

  • Support pre-project consulting for a portfolio pipeline of initiatives
  • Analyze technically viable ideas to improve the business performance

Technology Design and Implementation

  • Design and implement secure, stable and performant Kafka platform
  • Perform optimization and tuning of the Kafka platform
  • Develop standards and pattern for Kafka usage
  • Perform implementation of API Management and API Developer Portal for enterprise use
  • Design, develop and support of integrate API(s), web services, message services between internal system(s) and external system(s); to meet business and IT needs

Project Delivery

  • Focus on multiple small to medium to large scale initiatives
  • Test all solution aspects including but not limited to security, performance, integration
  • Understand areas of risk and act on the mitigation for the projects


  • Degree qualification in Information Technology related discipline
  • 4 years of related IT experience covering but not limited to:
    • Software development
    • System analysis
    • Solution definition
  • At least 3 years of hands-on implementation experience in API management solution and SOA solution
  • Experience in working with system integration platforms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity
  • Knowledge of database management system & IT security and auditing best practices
  • Strong in software development methodologies and cloud technologies including API and Web Services (SOAP, REST and XML)  and Amazon core services
  • Good verbal and written communication skill
  • Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial
  • Solid software development skill is highly beneficial
