In a typical day as a Presales Consultant Manager, you would
  • Manage resources and intra-region support to translate business goals into actionable presales utilization plans
  • Partner with sales and account planning to actively engage in driving sales strategy and proactively assess sales pipelines in area of control
  • Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries to ensure a positive "voice-from-the-field" presence in business decision making and product design
  • Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and improve operation area-of-controls to ensure alignment with HPE's business direction
  • Coach, asess and manage employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence
  • Focus on strategic direction
  • Strategize and coach teams on how to apply consultative selling
  • Employ a financial selling approach to meet customer needs and build business cases that link proposals to customer's goals
  • Own the presales contribution to business results of assigned sales organization(s)
  • Assist in the recruiting, training and development of presales resources
  • Manage group readiness to support assigned sales organization(s)

If you…
  • are good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen─you are aligned to our core values
  • hold a University or Bachelor's degree
  • have 10-12+ years’ experienced in sales
  • have xperience in management and delivering work resuslts, including achievement of progressively higher quotas or other sales related goals
  • are familiar with performance management of complex processes and strategic planning/execution
  • are excellent in communication, presentation and negotiation, especially with C-level clients
  • are able to coach and supervise 10-15 senior contributors and develop strong relationships within HPE and its customers
