As the Solution Design Manager at this global logistics and supply chain company, you will support the Business Development Team to achieve department's new business targets.
As one of the biggest logistics and supply chain company globally, our client started a joint venture with a Chinese logistics company to provide seamless supply chain solution for companies moving materials within China and across the world.
As an expert of third party logistics solutions, you will:
Prepare and manage solution proposals (design, simulation, cost models, profit and loss analysis, timeline, etc)
Draft winning proposals for projects such as distribution centre, consolidation & aftersales warehouses, line feeding, and in-plant services
Prepare sales presentation to highlight value-added of company's services
Partner with sales teams across the region to provide feasibility and service quotation/proposals for clients
Provide consultative services for corporate accounts
Manage stakeholder relationships (including property developers/agencies, trucking company, and other suppliers)
Maintain good knowledge in industry technologies, trends, and best practices
Work independently while collaborating with colleagues and partners across the region
Travel occasionally throughout the region as needed
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor degree (preferably business or logistics related)
Minimum 4-5 years of solution design/product design experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio) and visual layout tools (such as AutoCAD or Class)
Resource modelling and cost modelling skills
Self-motivated and disciplined
Good command in English and Mandarin Chinese
