Primary role purpose:
The Solutions Engineer will play a key role in the global maritime solutions engineering team. He or she will work closely with sales to solicit the customers’ technical challenges, and answer with a presentation or demonstration as to how Inmarsat products & services will leverage their configuration flexibilities to address the needs of their fleet. Focus on pre-sales activity supporting sales in an early phase to understand the customer requirements and objective, in order to provide the best solution and implementation advice to fully benefit from Inmarsat’s portfolio of products. Support and contribute to the development of our maritime CAP sector (Certified Application Provider).
The majority of customer-facing interactions will be directly with commercial shipping operators, Partners/resellers and industry players such as application providers.
