Your 'day to day'

You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You will support the Smoke-Free Products at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC). This position is accountable and responsible in the strategy set up and execution of the global project initiatives such as new product launches, line extensions, product changes and any other improvements concerning electronic devices By planning and coordinating between Commercial team, cross functions subject matter expert (SME) and Electronics Manufacturing Sites (EMS). Ensure that project is delivered timely, no impact in product quality, and no additional cost and meets regulatory requirement.

  • Supervise Global and Major projects tasks and milestones through a comprehensive project report database. Project feasibility is also prepared by analyzing project expectations versus the defined processes and lead-time. Conduct risk assessments, mitigations, and solutions for device, packaging, and assembly process to meet project expectation.
  • Ensures that final specifications of the product and manufacturing are defined and commercial production is ready. Also leading the validation and approval of finished products via the G4 process.
  • Global level feasibility and risk assessment including providing alternative options, risk mitigation, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate activities such as but not limited to code creations, BOM set-up, packaging execution, compliance check, manufacturing and sourcing capabilities and confirmation of timing milestones.
  • Coordinate with EMS Specifications Office and ensure system set up, process and control are well established for every product change updates. Ensure that risks are mitigated for every ECN (Engineering Change Notification) implementation prior to production.
  • Ensure product database (which includes BOM, weights, dimensions, print online requirements, case requirements, specific market requirements and Vendor Allocation) of implemented projects for future resources and project planning are well maintained.
  • Governance of Global strategy issued to EMS is evaluated via C-change review and approval by Product Services Maintenance Engineers.
  • Promote product optimization and reduce complexity by ensuring all commercialization codes, specification, and change requests are handled as per their appropriate lifecycle and accurately maintained in the system. Extract and utilize required information in PLM systems accordingly as per request (metric reporting, cluster/market requests, etc.)

Who we're looking for

  • University or College degree in Business, or Engineering degree
  • 5+ years experience in Electronic Devices, Development or Manufacturing, Supply Chain environment with solid understanding in Process and Project Management.
  • Shown experience in NPI activities, Manufacturing or Supply Chain of Electronic Devices.
  • Experience in commercialization project management from ideation through to completion.
  • Experience in Configuration Management (BOM Structure and systems) is an added advantage
  • Ability to map, supervise and control vital processes in the project ecosystem
  • Big-picture thinking and vision and Results-Oriented, attention to details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, decisive and resourceful
  • Strong learning and analytical skills
