Sr / Fabric Manager, High-end ladies fashion. (silk/ woven)

  • Strong experience in Silk/ Woven fabrics for ladies high end fashion,
  • Well experience in manufacturing or trading
  • Lead and manage fabric team to operate material sourcing activities efficiently
  • Research new fabrics and raw material, engineering and finishing technology and schedule up seasonal presentation.
  • Regular visit trade shows, silk, woven fabric and chemical suppliers.
  • Work and support Design and Product Development to create new products that achieve the cost structure, to meeting department targets and design intent.
  • Monitor the progress and status of fabric sample orders. Set up quality standard to production -Evaluate testing report result and work with mills technically improvement and suggestion for brands
  • Organize and execute the environment sustainability projects to the company such as BCI, RSL and PFCs Free
  • Proceed SWOT, KPI and scorecard/mill survey by quarterly -Schedule annual mill summit for brands -
  • Participate company’s quality testing manual & standard procedure discussion when need
  • Expand the resources of competitive fabric suppliers and business partners to establish mostly efficient supply chain and suppliers base.
  • Responsible for prices negotiation
  • Work shorter leadtime for chase orders/special capsule project
  • -Search direct offshore fabric manufacturers to production for achieving cost-oriented projects and objectives.
  • Evaluate and raise potential quality callout across departments and assemble the solution for quality reinforcement alternatives prior to production.
  • Trouble shoots to quality issues -To maximizing the proficiency of fabric and raw material supply.
  • Frequent Travel
