Responsibilities

  • To be a team member of Productivity & Service Quality Department
  • To drive measurable improvements by deploying Process Improvement/Lean principles to assigned problems
  • To establish and use quality metrics to drive change and deliver measured improvements
  • To conduct review and identify opportunities for cost efficiency, productivity and service quality improvement, and formulate related project management plans
  • To take ownership of specific initiatives from inception to implementation, solve complex problems and deliver financial results, which contribute to the achievement of project assignments
  • To synthesize process improvement initiatives at different stages into executive summaries/briefs/reports
  • To clearly define outputs in the form of gains that can easily be measured and quantified
  • To define project scope, resources requirements and assign responsibilities for project team members
  • To coach Business Leaders, Champions and Sponsors on the ideal strategy for improving productivity and quality within/across business functions

Requirements

  • University graduate in Banking, Business Management, or related discipline
  •  A minimum of 10 years' process improvement experience in an internal consulting, process re-engineering and/or change management role, preferably within banking/financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of business process review, improvement and re-engineering theory and procedures
  •  A strong advocate for organizational change and encourage employee advocacy
  • Ability to understand and influence others as if working as a consultant
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and working relationships with the business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and take personal accountability for projects and resolve issuestiona willingness to tackle new challenges and ambiguity
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop team members
  • Strong strategic, leadership, communications, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong sense of prioritization and execution against critical deliverables with a willingness to tackle challenges and ambiguity
  • Effective use of PowerPoint and other visual aids, coupled with exceptional facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
