The Independent Schools Foundation Academy (The ISF Academy), a private independent IB World School in Hong Kong, offers a sophisticated Putonghua and English immersion curriculum for Pre-Primary to Grade 12; the school currently has over 1,800 students and 400 employees.
The Shuyuan Science Program is a key part of the science curriculum at The ISF Academy. The Shuyuan program supports both scientific research and education designed to increase awareness, understanding and participation. Shuyuan research projects are intended to be conducted by students but also aim to make meaningful contributions to the body of scientific knowledge.
On top of the Shuyuan program, The Independent Schools Foundation (“the Foundation") is to establish a non-profit research and education center, The Charles Kao STEM Education Research Center based on the principles and practices of STEM as applied to age groups from infants through to young adults. Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education is partnering with the Foundation to design and operate a Maker Space for innovative technology projects by children. This center will host education researchers and offer a range of internationally accredited and government-approved learning programs and courses with a strong STEM focus to students all over Hong Kong.
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an energetic, qualified, and experienced candidate to join our Shuyuan team, this position will need to support both the Shuyuan research projects and the educational research project.
