Store Design Project Manager


Our client is a leading luxury retail group. To cope with their retail expansion in Asia Pacific, they are now seeking high caliber candidate to join them as the Store Design Project Manager - Asia Pacific

Responsible for all area's of store design & build throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to -

  • Manage the design development and project management with sign-off on all regional projects to ensure the brands store design aesthetics are met.
  • Coordinate internal review and approval of schematic designs involving the MD, Head of Marketing and Retail.
  • Coordinate design and implementation of store build and renovation projects with key stakeholders; internally and externally.
  • Review and approve all construction documents to ensure drawings are accurate and consistent.
  • Review and approve all furniture & fixture production, storefront, and signage store drawings.
  • Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising division to ensure that stores receive all visual and merchandising collateral (includes mannequins, product enhancers, graphics, and artwork).
  • Keep track of the project time frame and ensure the completion is as per scheduled.
  • Maintenance of contractors and suppliers to ensure all projects are running smoothly and to good value.
  • Conduct site visits, field reports, and punch lists for each store project.
  • Report to the Regional Head of Marketing Asia Pacific.
  • Project responsibilities include Asia Pacific retail and wholesale.

Requirements:

  • Architecture or Interior Design Degree.
  • 7 years minimum professional background with solid experience of working in the luxury retail industry.
  • AutoCAD, Word and Excel proficiency required.
  • Photoshop and CAD drawing proficiency preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative on different types of projects simultaneously with aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to manage and work within allocated budgets.
  • Excellent presentation skills, understands and tailors presentations to the audience
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction documents, including basic knowledge of building codes.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Ability to travel.

Work at Tsim Sha Shui.

5.5 days work, double pay + Bonus, 12 AL, Medical, Travelling Allowance.
