Strategic Account Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop freehand business in HK and South China region
  • Promote our services to targeted and existing accounts
  • Generate and follow up sales leads, identify business opportunities
  • Achieve sales targets and conduct daily sales call
  • Drive and engage with customer for the RFI/RFP/RFQs in the formulation of a win strategy.
  • Negotiate with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures
  • Develop pipeline of new business growth outside of assigned accounts.
  • Focus on Account Receivables to support collection outstanding invoices when required.
  • Any other project assigned by the management

Key deliverable:

  • Gross revenue and volume performance of the key and strategic accounts.
  • Development of value-add propositions and build strong customer relationship
  • Drive sustainable growth according to target setting and MBOs.
  • logistics field.
  • Business development skills and background is preferred.

Skills/Competencies required:

  • Solid freight forwarding operational know-how
  • Strong customer relationship building and alignment skills
  • Analytical and processes skills (creativity/flexibility/strategic thinking)
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, organized and focused
  • Results driven
  • Advanced computer literacy: good PC skills, and capability to use internal tools
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Mandarin is essential

Education and Experience requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree holder with minimum 3 years' sales experience in freight forwarding / logistics industry
  • Good product and market knowledge and client networking in Hong Kong and South China
  • Aggressive, self-driven & results-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
