Salary: HK$9,800 per month
Entry Requirements: (a) Full-time students studying Bachelor Degree in the 2015 / 16 and 2016 / 17 academic years with major in Statistics / Computer Science / Computing / Information System / Database Management or related disciplines offered by post-secondary institutions; and
(b) Preferably possessing computer programming skills in Visual Basic or VBA programming for Microsoft Excel or Access as well as database management (relevant supporting documents may be required).
Note: All eligible applicants MUST attend a selection interview.
Duties: (a) To assist in developing computer programmes for statistical computation such as data coding, editing, extraction, verification and database manipulation; and
(b) To assist in developing a comprehensive database on local creative industries-related programmes based on the information provided by Education Bureau and University Grants Committee.
Terms of Appointment: Employment period is about 3 months from June to August 2018. Summer intern is normally required to work 44 hours per week.
Fringe Benefits Rest day, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, sick leave, etc., where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. Summer intern is subject to the Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme Ordinance (Cap. 485).
