Superintendent, Electrical & Mechanical

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Control, monitor and supervise the maintenance works for mechanical services


• Assist in daily inspection, workmanship monitoring, testing and commissioning of maintenance works, alteration and improvement works as well as refurbishment works


• Assist in budget control and expenditure of the maintenance works, alteration and improvement works as well as refurbishment works


• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact to daily operations and completed on time


• Review and comment on contractor’s submissions i.e. method statement, works programme etc.


• Liaise with stakeholders to carry out fault analysis and arrange corresponding rectification / maintenance works


• Perform shift duties including overnight shift if required

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in supervision of electrical & mechanical maintenance and/or construction works.Degree holder with 4 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered


• Candidate without the above specified academic qualification but have 12 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered


• Solid experience in airport works or maintenance of major facilities under a live operating environment is an advantage


• Proactive, service oriented and be able to work under pressure


• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizing skills


• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese


• Proficient in MS Office applications


• Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
