Support Engineer (Banking)

Responsibilities:

  • Support production environment in Mainframe platform which is located in UK
  • Support vendor system which is installed on Mainframe platform
  • Work with the teams in UK and India in resolving production problems
  • Investigate and resolve problems arising in connection with IT services
  • Expected to work in EU timezone per need basis

Requirements:
  • University-level degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related fields.
  • 3+ years of working experience on Mainframe platform
  • Solid Mainframe experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, TWS, File management would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
  • Ability in woking under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
