This newly open role will be responsible for customizing, enhancing and maintaining web application systems. The ideal candidate is who has hands on experience on leading and guiding developers to complete assigned jobs and provide day-to-day system support. Also, have to assist IT Managers on project management, team management and vendor management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective application system solution and support by conducting application development design & enhancement and understanding business process and requirements. Assist in preparation of testing strategies
  • Ensure quality systems development work is performed in accordance with the systems development methodology and guidelines
  • Ensure timely project delivery through planning project schedule and resources requirements, assisting to monitor project progress and manage vendors, and coordinating testing and implementation activities
  • Lead and coach Senior Analyst Programmers and Analyst Programmers to complete assigned jobs and ensure quality day-to-day system support is provided

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in Information Technology
  • Solid experience in enterprise level systems design and problem solving
  • Hands on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Jasper report, web services, Python
  • Good knowledge in WebSphere and IBM testing tools
  • Experience in Linux, Windows, AIX environments and DB2 or other RDBMS
  • Experience in Agile environments would be an added advantage
  • Proven leadership, project management, people management, vendor management, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Studies, or related disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
