System Development Engineer (Ref: 19000025)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee asset performance framework for various disciplines and functions to ensure governance on costing and asset management throughout the asset life cycle
  • Monitor the performance and condition of equipment from a system-wide perspective, ensure compliance of engineering activities under the Asset Management System and conduct regular review and update of documentation
  • Provide support on budget planning and control, productivity initiatives, benchmarking studies and establishment of life cycle cost mechanism to ensure sustainable productivity gain from existing and new assets

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Civil / Mechanical or a related engineering discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years’ post-graduate experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
  • Extensive knowledge of and exposure to modern engineering systems and maintenance practices
  • Proficiency in Asset Management Information System

Remarks

  • Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered.
